The Confederations Cup playoff match between the United States and Mexico at the Rose Bowl has been moved to Saturday Oct. 10, CONCACAF announced on Friday.
The playoff match will pit the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup champion Mexico against the United States who won the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament. El Tri has a 2-1-1 record all-time against the U.S. at the Rose Bowl.
The victor of the one-game playoff will qualify for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup which is scheduled to run from June 17 to July 2 in venues across Russia which is the host of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Tickets will be made available to the general public in September.
