CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Aug. 31, 2015) – The LA Galaxy will train this week at StubHub Center during a bye week in MLS Regular Season play. LA Galaxy II travel for an away match against Orange County Blues FC this Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. PT at Anteater Stadium at UC Irvine.
In their most recent contest, the LA Galaxy fell to the San Jose Earthquakes 1-0 at Avaya Stadium on Friday. Despite the result, LA remain in first place in Western Conference and Supporters’ Shield standings on 46 points, having scored an MLS-high 49 goals while allowing 33 for a +16 goal differential, the best in MLS.
The Galaxy finished the month of August 4-1-0 in MLS Regular Season competition, scoring 13 goals and allowing just five. LA finished 6-1-0 across all competitions during August, scoring 23 goals and allowing six. The team will return to MLS action Saturday, Sept. 12 at StubHub Center against the Montreal Impact (7:30 p.m. PT, Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Time Warner Cable Deportes).

The bye week for the Galaxy coincides with a FIFA international break, as forward Robbie Keane (Ireland), defender Omar Gonzalez (USMNT), forward Gyasi Zardes (USMNT), defender A.J. DeLaGarza (Guam) and defender Oscar Sorto (U.S. U-23 MNT) were all called up to international duty with their respective national team squads.
