LA Galaxy affirm that the club is not in a slump ahead of Real Salt Lake clash | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy's last two matches have not gone according to plan, but no one in the team's StubHub Center locker room believes that they are in the midst of a late-season slump.

The Galaxy are winless in their last two matches, having been shutout in both their scoreless draw with the Montreal Impact and their 1-0 defeat to the San Jose Earthquakes three weeks ago. However, the Galaxy believe that they will right the ship when they face Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday.

"We always want to get the three points regardless of how we did in the last game," Galaxy forward Robbie Keane said. "It’s always in our nature to do that. This will be the same. We’ll go there, and hopefully put a good performance in and get three points."

Sebastian Lletget agrees, that the Galaxy simply need to be more aggressive in the final third.

"It’s tough when you pay attention to certain parts of your game," Lletget said. "We’ve been emphasizing our defense which has been good, but now we have to transition that into the attacking part of the game. It hasn’t been good enough."
