Bruce Arena speaks after the LA Galaxy's 3-0 defeat to Real Salt Lake | INSIDER

SANDY, Utah -- LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena spoke to reporters following the Galaxy's 3-0 defeat to Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium.

(On the result...)

ARENA: “Well, it was a comedy of errors today. We played a better first half then the score indicates but we just punished ourselves and putting ourselves in that position by conceding a goal in the first three minutes is not a formula for success on the road.”

(On the defending...)

ARENA: “The second half doesn’t concern me as much as the poor play on defending the corner kick and obviously, we need better judgment in conceding the penalty. Then we had our chances but give them credit, their goalkeeper made some saves in the first half then we go down to 2-0 and need to come out in the second half, and get a goal back. By conceding the third goal, the game was basically over."

(On Vancouver and Dallas both losing and their place in the Supporters’ Shield chase…)

ARENA: “I could care less about the other games right now. That’s not important.”

(On the team’s goalless drought…)

“Well, we probably have to get other players then? We’ll score a goal by the end of the season, I’m sure.”
