CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy can lock down a berth in the MLS Cup playoffs this weekend.
The Galaxy can clinch a playoff berth if they earn a victory over Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday. LA can also lock down a berth with a draw in Seattle and if a series of results go in their favor.

OR
- San Jose Earthquakes lose vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday
AND
- Houston Dynamo lose or tie vs. FC Dallas on Sunday
