Bruce Arena speaks after LA Galaxy earn 1-1 draw with Seattle Sounders FC | INSIDER

SEATTLE -- Bruce Arena speaks to reporters following the club's 1-1 draw against Seattle Sounders FC. The draw clinched a spot for the Galaxy in the 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs.

(On qualifying for the playoffs...)

"That's a positive. Would've felt a little better getting three points tonight, but give Seattle credit, they pushed hard to get the goal, and they earned it again. "

(On the team's defense...)

"Yeah, yeah. We, for the most part, played pretty well defensively."

(On dealing with the turf surface...)
What's the point in worrying about the surface? It's been there for seven years now, and it's the same. That's the way it is. It's not easy for either team."
(On if it is gratifying to secure a playoff berth...)

"Oh, well, I think we're going to have a parade in Downtown Los Angeles tomorrow. We're a team that's expected to be in the playoffs, to be honest with you. Obviously, it's an achievement for the team in such a competitive league this year, and conference, and that's good, but we certainly want to accomplish a little bit more than making the playoffs."

(On Juninho's injury and if there is any update...)

"I didn't discuss it with the trainer."

(On how the team played...)
"We played OK. We played OK. To get a point in a game like this under these conditions, with a big crowd and a difficult field to play on. We weren't sure if we were in the NFL or Major League Soccer tonight so; it wasn't easy."
