The LA Galaxy will host a food drive to benefit the LA Regional Food Bank beginning Monday, Oct. 11 that will conclude following the Galaxy’s match vs. Portland Timbers FC at StubHub Center on Sunday, Oct. 18. With a club goal to collect over 400 lbs. of food, front office staff and players will donate throughout the week with donation drop boxes located at each entrance of StubHub Center for fans to donate on Sunday, October 18th from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

Fans are encouraged to bring items including the following:

  • Canned proteins (tuna, sardines, soups and stews)
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Canned fruits and vegetables
  • Fruit juices
  • Beans, rice and pasta

The food drive is a part of the Galaxy’s ongoing partnership with the LA Regional Food Bank. Earlier this year, the Galaxy participated in BackPack Distribution at Mayo Elementary School as Todd Dunivant helped hand out backpacks full of food to children in the community. On November 5, LA Galaxy’s 20 for Twenty will continue with the LA Galaxy Impact Volunteer Day at LA Regional Food Bank.
