LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena provides an injury update ahead of Portland Timbers match | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena told reporters on Tuesday that midfielder Baggio Husidic and defender A.J. DeLaGarza are moving forward in their injury recovery.

Husidic returned to training after suffering a hamstring injury during the Galaxy's CONCACAF Champions League match against Central FC. The prognosis is also favorable for DeLaGarza, who endured an injury of his own during LA's clash with Seattle Sounders two weeks ago.
"We’re making progress on all fronts," said Arena. "I don’t expect anything right now. We’re playing on Sunday."

DeLaGarza, who admits that the 2015 campaign has been a frustrating one due to injury, admits that he believes he'll be ready for Sunday's clash with the Portland Timbers.

"You can say that I've been injured the entire season since the second week of preseason, and another handful of games I haven't been the healthiest," DeLaGarza told LAGalaxy.com. "I know what is at stake now though because we have two games left in the regular season and potentially five games in the postseason. It's important for me to be out there if I can. I will give whatever I have for however long I can give it. I think I'll be fine by Sunday."
