CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard wished luck to new Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp ahead of his first match in charge at Anfield.
Klopp, formerly of Borussia Dortmund, took over at Liverpool FC last week after the dismissal of former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers. The Liverpool FC legend declined to answer any questions about Klopp, but wished the German coach luck ahead of his first game.
"I'm here to speak about MLS. We've got a big game on Sunday," Gerrard said. "Good Luck to Liverpool and Mr. Klopp against Tottenham. I wish them all the best."
