LA Galaxy begin #RaceToSeis with match against Seattle Sounders FC in Knockout Round of Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs

CARSON, Calif. (Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015) – The LA Galaxy will face Seattle Sounders FC this Wednesday, Oct. 28 in the Knockout Round of the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs (7 p.m. PT, UniMas). With 51 points (14-11-9), LA finished in fifth place in the MLS Western Conference following a 2-1 loss on the road to Sporting Kansas City Sunday night.
Should the Galaxy defeat Seattle, they would advance to the Western Conference Semifinals, where they host either FC Dallas or Vancouver Whitecaps FC at StubHub Center on Sunday, Nov. 1 in the first leg of the series. The Galaxy would then travel for the second leg of the series on Sunday, November 8.


The LA Galaxy have faced Seattle three times this season, going 2-0-1 and scoring five goals. The Galaxy earned wins over Seattle twice at StubHub Center this season before earning a 1-1 draw on the road at CenturyLink Field on Oct. 4. In their most recent playoff match at CenturyLink Field – played last year in the 2014 MLS Western Conference Finals – the Galaxy advanced to the 2014 MLS Cup final.
