KANSAS CITY, Kan. – LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena spoke to reporters following the Galaxy’s 2-1 defeat to Sporting Kansas City.

(On Benny Feilhaber's impact in the second half...)

"Did he? I'm not exactly clear where you're coming from. He did fine. I thought at the start of the second half, we were very good. Maybe you can say that they got it against the run of play. Feilhaber's a good player so you know that he's going to have an impact. He played well. I thought it was a good game. I'm disappointed with the officating in the first half on their first goal. It's a pretty obvious goal. I don't want to make excuses but the linesman should make that call, but I thought it was a good game."

(On the matchup with Seattle...)

"We play Seattle which is always difficult. They're a good team and it's obviously a difficult place to play in. It'll be a good game."

(On the Decision Day format and if the team was scoreboard watching...)

"No."

(On putting this loss behind them...)

"We did. It's professional sports, you deal with what the circumstances are. If we can't win our last two games then we deserve to be in the play-in game. We had opportunties to position ourselves better. This is where we are and that's fine. We'll go to Seattle and we'll be ready to play.

(On what the team needs to fix heading into Seattle...)

"We played well tonight. Our finishing could have been better and we could have done better in the final third of the field. Both teams had chances. They certainly could have gotten another goal as well, but we had a few plays where if we're a little cleaner, we should have gotten a couple more goals. That part of it, which is our strength, we didn't do particularly well tonight."
