LA Galaxy Academy goalkeeper Abraham Romero and Mexico advanced in the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup by eliminating Chile on Wednesday.
El Tri toppled Chile 4-1 sending the hosts out of the tournament. Claudio Zamudio, Pablo Lopez, Eduardo Aguirre, and Diego Reyes scored in the victory. Romero made two saves to send Mexico through to the quarterfinals for the third straight tournament.
Mexico will play Ecuador in the quarterfinals on Nov. 2.
