LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard went 90 minutes and added an assist for the Liverpool FC Legends in their 4-0 victory over the Australian Legends on Thursday.
Luis Garcia notched a brace for LFC while Ian Rush and John Aldridge rounded out the scoring for the Reds in their convincing win at the AZ Stadium in Sydney. Gerrard's assist came in the 52nd minute when the Galaxy midfielder launched a perfectly weighted ball to the head of Garcia, who nodded in his second of the evening.
Gerrard will now prepare to return to Southern California to meet up with the Galaxy for preseason later this month.
