Are the LA Galaxy closing in on another signing? Perhaps, according to Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena.
After the announcement of the signing of Ashley Cole, Arena told reporters that the Galaxy will "perhaps" announce another acquisition to their squad in the next week. That player could be Dutch midfielder Nigel de Jong, who has been repeatedly linked to the Galaxy, and was reportedly offered a three-year contract by the club according to various British outlets.
When asked specifically about the Dutch midfielder, however, Arena declined to comment.
