LA Galaxy legend David Beckham took to Instagram on Thursday to voice his approval of the Galaxy's signing of his former England international teammate Ashley Cole.
Beckham is quite familiar with Cole, who played in three World Cups with the ex-Galaxy star. Although the Cole signing has been met with some negativity, Beckham expects his former teammate to produce at his old club.
"Congratulations to Ash & the Galaxy for completing the signing of one of the best left backs in the history of the game," Beckham wrote. "This can only be good for the league and especially the Galaxy as a team and organization."
