Gyasi Zardes has been backed by Messi all season long.

The LA Galaxy striker has been featured in adidas’ “Backed By Messi” alongside some of the best young soccer talents from around the world.

And when Messi posted a crossbar challenge on facebook, the hometown hero Zardes stepped up to plate.
