"I would urge all the Galaxy fans to support the team. We're the Galaxy. [StubHub Center] is our home stadium. This is a team and a club that is getting bigger and bigger," LA Galaxy captain Robbie Keane said. "We need [the crowd] to be 90 percent of Galaxy fans, or even more. The CONCACAF Champions League is the region’s most prestigious club tournament, qualifying its champion directly to the FIFA Club World Cup. LA are set to make their fourth trip to the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals. In the second leg of the SCCL quarterfinals, the Galaxy will travel to Estadio Corona Torreon in Mexico to face Laguna on Tuesday, March 1, at 7 p.m. PT.
In all-time SCCL competition, the Galaxy are 15-8-5, scoring 52 goals and allowing 32. The Galaxy continue to lead all U.S. teams in SCCL wins (15) and goals scored (52) all time. LA are 6-2-2 in their last 10 SCCL games overall with five shutouts during that span.
