New ways to score points FANTASY SOCCER KEANE

After setting up your Fantasy Soccer Manager team for free and learning the ways in which you can win prizes, it’s time for you to understand how your players will score points.


There are even more ways for your players to accumulate fantasy points this season, which means watching your team’s point total rise just became even more exciting! It also means more players will become relevant in fantasy this season.


Let’s review the scoring categories and touch on what’s new this season:


Points are awarded to players in each MLS game using the scoring categories listed in the tables below.

MINUTES, GOALS, ASSISTS

* Assists are awarded when a pass or cross leads to a goal being scored (no defender touch must interfere with the pass). Live-scoring assist totals are provisional and will be reviewed within 24 hours of the match. Players who are credited with a second assist will receive three points (same as a regular assist).

What are the changes to the scoring system?

Players will now be rewarded for pass completion, total shots and fouls suffered. There has also been an overhaul to the defending bonus scoring. Previously, defending bonus points were awarded for a combination of defensive stats. Now, defending bonus points have been split into standalone categories.
