Gyasi Zardes has enjoyed a pretty good couple of days.
He scored two goals in the Galaxy's 3-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday. He was named to the U.S. National Team's roster for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Guatemala a day later, and on Monday, he was selected to MLSsoccer.com's Team of The Week.
Zardes' two goals against San Jose helped the Galaxy earn their second win of 2016 and earn the Hawthorne product a place in the league's weekly honor.
