CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, March 24, 2016) – The fourth annual LA Galaxy 5K & Cozmo Family Fun Run presented by Herbalife Nutrition is set for Sunday, June 5, beginning at 8:30 a.m. PT. Registration for the 5K is open now at www.lagalaxy.com/5k and will close May 27. Walk up registration will be available on race day for $50.

Registration is $40 per racer with all proceeds benefitting the LA Galaxy Foundation. The first 750 participants to register will receive a LA Galaxy race day shirt while the first 750 participants to finish the race on June 5 will receive a medal. Additionally, each 5K racer will receive free tickets to the LA Galaxy II match against Tulsa Roughnecks FC on Friday, June 24, at StubHub Center’s Track & Field Stadium.
The first male and female participants to finish the race will receive a trip to a 2016 LA Galaxy away match courtesy of Herbalife Nutrition. The second place finishers will receive suite access at StubHub Center during an LA Galaxy match for up to 10 guests. Third place finishers will receive an Alcatel tablet and two tickets to an LA Galaxy match at StubHub Center.
Each participant will also receive a complimentary professional photo taken before the race. The race course will take participants throughout StubHub Center, ending inside the stadium with the finish line shown on GalaxyTV, the largest video board in Major League Soccer. All proceeds from the event benefit the LA Galaxy Foundation’s ongoing support of programs and initiatives that benefit youth in Los Angeles.
Following the LA Galaxy 5K will be the Cozmo Family Fun Run at StubHub Center, which allows children 12 and under to participate in a race at StubHub Center free of charge.
The 5K and Cozmo Family Fun run follows the Galaxy’s match at StubHub Center against Sporting KC on Thursday, June 2.
