CARSON, Calif. – Steven Gerrard’s status for the LA Galaxy’s clash with Vancouver Whitecaps FC this weekend remains in question according to head coach Bruce Arena.
The 35-year-old left the Galaxy’s 3-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes on March 19 in the third minute with a left calf injury. Gerrard has not been present for the portion of training open for media availability since his injury, and was not present again on Tuesday.
Arena told reporters on Tuesday that Gerrard is moving forward with his recovery.
“Any day, any day,” Arena said when asked about when Gerrard will return to training.
The Galaxy are off on Wednesday.
