Vancouver Whitecaps FC forward Masato Kudo is suspended for Vancouver's match with the LA Galaxy for his actions in last week's win over the Houston Dynamo, the league announced on Thursday.
The MLS Disciplinary Committee chose to suspend and fine the Japanese forward for his act of simulation in winning a 22nd minute penalty that led to lone goal in Vancouver's 1-0 win over the Houston Dynamo.
Kudo, who was signed in the offseason, has made three appearances for Vancouver this season.
