What a day, what a day.
Anticipation was high for Kobe Bryant's last professional basketball game as a 20 year career would come to an end. Nike started the morning by declaring April 13th #MambaDay and the Lakers added their own spin to the occasion with a #ThankYouKobe hashtag.
The game itself did not disappoint as Bryant scored 60 points on the night en route to leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a narrow 101-96 win over the Utah Jazz.
Athletes took to Twitter to wish The Black Mamba congratulations on an incredible career and follow along as he played his final game with the Los Angeles Lakers.
