Nigel de Jong will be suspended for three games according to the Washington Post.
The Washington Post reported on Wednesday that De Jong will be suspended for three games for his tackle on Darlington Nagbe late in the Galaxy's 1-1 draw with the Portland Timbers last week. Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena confirmed on Wednesday that De Jong will be suspended for at least one match.
An Official word from the MLS Disciplinary Committee is expected Thursday.
