The future is bright for U.S. Soccer and products from the LA Galaxy Academy are a major reason why.

LA Galaxy Academy phenom Efrain Alvarez led the U.S. U-15 boys to a dominating 2-0 victory over their counterparts from Uruguay on April 8 to win the 2016 International Festival of Futbol title in Argentina. Alvarez,13, scored a goal in the Americans' impressive victory over the Uruguayan side to complete a tournament that included three goals and two assists against Club Atletico Talleres earlier in the week. Alvarez has played for both the LA Galaxy U-14s and U-16s this season and scored a total of 23 goals combined for both sides.

Alvarez wasn't the only Galaxy Academy product to enjoy a banner tournament as fellow academy midfielder Cade Hagan scored twice during the tournament. Hagan, 14, has eight goals in 14 games for the LA Galaxy U-14's this season.
