CARSON, Calif. – Steven Gerrard remains a question mark heading into this Sunday’s match against the New England Revolution.
The 35-year-old English midfielder missed out on last week’s 1-1 draw against Sporting Kansas City with a groin injury sustained in training. Gerrard has been present at training during the portion of practice open for media availability, but head coach Bruce Arena did not confirm that the midfielder will be available for Sunday.
“I don’t know yet,” said Arena. “We have to get through the week of training before we finalize our lineup Sunday.”
Gerrard has notched one goal and two assists in five appearances this season for the Galaxy.
