LA Galaxy II fall to fourth in USL power rankings | INSIDER

LA Galaxy II fell three spots to fourth place in the USL power rankings after earning mixed results last week.

Los Dos earned a 3-2 win over Colorado Springs Switchbacks midweek only to drop their first loss of the season last Saturday with a 2-0 defeat to rival Sacramento Republic. Despite the defeat, Curt Onalfo’s squad remains in first place in USL’s Western Conference with 16 points to date.

“Los Dos slide a little this week after splitting a pair of games in the past week, and could be excused for a slight letdown on Saturday as it came off three games in eight days,” USLsoccer.com’s Nicholas Murray wrote. “After winning the prior two against what appears to be a solid Rio Grande Valley side, and a Colorado Springs team that rebounded in impressive fashion on Sunday at Orange County, Coach Curt Onalfo’s squad will enjoy a chance to rest a little before getting back into action against Vancouver on Sunday.”
