CARSON, Calif. -- The Montreal Impact will be without their star central defender for this weekend's clash with the LA Galaxy.
Impact central defender Laurent Ciman will miss this Saturday's clash at Stade Saputo after being called up by the Belgian national team for the 2016 European Championships. The reigning MLS defender of the year is scheduled to join Belgium head coach Marc Wilmots' squad in Switzerland on Monday for pre-tournament training camp.
Belgium is considered one of the favorites for the tournament which runs from June 10 to July 10.
