The LA Galaxy Foundation, in partnership with the Women of FOX Sports, kicked off the LA Galaxy Women’s Leadership Series at StubHub Center ahead of their May 22nd match with a discussion on ‘The Business of Sports and How Soccer is Changing the Game.’ The event included a discussion with senior women in the sports industry about the business they work in and how the emergence of soccer in the US is changing the sports landscape.
Panel speakers included: Katie Pandolfo, General Manager of StubHub Center - Leslie Osborne, FOX Sports Soccer Analyst & Former Member of the US Women’s National Team - Lisa Levine, General Counsel, US Soccer Federation - Lindsey Colli and Senior Manager of Partnership at StubHub. The event was moderated by Raquel Braun, Director of Business and Legal Affairs with FOX Cable Networks.
Business professionals from various Los Angeles sport and entertainment organizations heard from speakers in a 60-minute panel discussion followed by a networking cocktail reception and pregame field experience with guests attending the LA Galaxy vs. San Jose Earthquakes match.
The LA Galaxy Women’s Leadership Series will continue with a Young Professional Development: Get into the Game event on July 15th and the High School Women’s Soccer Seminar on August 27th.
