CARSON, Calif. (Monday, June 6, 2016) – LA Galaxy II (5-2-6, 21 points) have a week of training to prepare for a second 2016 match against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (7-2-1, 22 points). The two will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium.

The two clubs first met on May 4 of this year when Los Dos defeated Colorado Springs 3-2 in the first match of the season at the StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium. A hat trick from Jack McBean secured all three points for Galaxy II that day.
Colorado Springs currently tops the Western Conference table with 22 points (7-2-1). LA sits third with 21 points, just behind Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 (6-1-4, 22 points) who took their first loss of the season last week. Coming into Saturday’s match, Colorado Springs rides a five game unbeaten streak. Their last losswas against Los Dos.
LA Galaxy II continues to lead the leagues in goals scored (27) and are the only team to be averaging more than two goals per game (2.08). Jack McBean leads all USL goal scorers with 11 goals in 12 games.
Over the weekend, Los Dos earned a 2-2 draw against Sacramento Republic FC (4-4-4, 15 points) at Bonney Field in Sacramento, Calif. Goals from the Villarreal brothers gave the team a crucial road point in a rematch with their Northern Californian rival.
