Robbie Rogers’ goal against the Philadelphia Union won the LA Galaxy Goal of the Month competition presented by 76 Gas for May.
Rogers’ tally which came after some lovely attacking buildup, received 47.97 percent of the vote for the month. Giovani dos Santos’ goal against the New England Revolution finished a close second. LAGalaxy.com received more votes in May than in any other month in the history of the competition.
Rogers has made 12 appearances for the Galaxy this season. The right back joins Giovani dos Santos and Jack McBean as fellow winners of the competition.
