CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy players Ashley Cole and Giovani dos Santos are among the leaders in the MLS All-Star Game Fan Voting.
Dos Santos is currently ranked third among midfielders while Cole finds himself in fourth place in defender voting. A total of ten players – one goalkeeper, three defenders, four midfielders and two forwards – with the highest combined votes will be named to the All-Star Fan XI. The final forward position will be awarded to the winner of the AT&T/EA SPORTS™ “More Than a Vote” Challenge. Voting continues through July 4 at 12 p.m. PT.
While not on the top of the Fan XI leaderboard, Galaxy captain Robbie Keane is currently ranked third in the AT&T/EA SPORTS™ “More Than a Vote” Challenge. Keane is currently behind New York City FC's David Villa and Toronto FC's Giovinco in the competition which will award the final MLS All-Star place to the striker with the most goals in FIFA 16.
