Angel City Brigade Pride Night

CARSON, Calif. – The Angel City Brigade’s Pride Night display a year ago was one of the most memorable moments of a remarkable evening and in 2016, the LA Galaxy supporters’ group have more planned.

Ahead of Pride Night in 2015, the supporters’ group unveiled a rainbow flag display as well as colorful rainbow streamers that were tossed onto the pitch prior to kickoff. The display made for an impressive image that left an impact on the group and the packed crowd at StubHub Center.

“ACB prides itself on being welcoming to anyone who wants to support the [Galaxy] for 90 minutes; this includes our LGBTQ brothers and sisters,” Angel City Brigade president Vanessa Arias said. “Supporting more than Blue, White and Gold on Pride Night is important for us.”

In the wake of the tragic attacks in Orlando earlier this month, the ACB intend to unfurl a display that will honor the lives lost.

“It is with a heavy heart that the theme of our display will change from last year,” Arias said. “We were all deeply affected by the tragedy in Orlando; we plan to stand in solidarity with the victims and their families.”
