MATCHUPS TO WATCH:

GIOVANI DOS SANTOS vs. VICTOR BERNARDEZ

The Galaxy offense is struggling recently and it'll be up to the Galaxy's leading goalscorer, Giovani dos Santos to break them out of their doldrums. Dos Santos will need to be far more aggressive than he was earlier this week against Colorado when he takes on the burly Bernardez.

STEVEN GERRARD vs. FATAI ALASHE

Like Dos Santos, the Galaxy need more aggression from Gerrard who will face off against Alashe, a talented young American midfielder. Expect Gerrard to push the youngster often as he looks to help spark the Galaxy attack.

MATIAS PEREZ-GARCIA vs. ASHLEY COLE

The Galaxy's English outside back is set to return to the starting lineup on Saturday and he'll need to bundle up the enigmatic Perez-Garcia. A diminutive midfielder, Perez-Garcia will look to get behind Cole often to cause problems for the Galaxy defense.

WHAT THEY SAID:

"We have to keep working to score a goal. I think the team is working really hard. We know what we have to change." - Giovani dos Santos on how to correct the Galaxy's scoring woes.
