CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy left back Ashley Cole received an undisclosed fine from the league's Disciplinary Committee on Thursday to pair with his red card suspension from the Galaxy's 1-1 draw with the San Jose Earthquakes last week.
The 35-year-old was shown a yellow card, and then, a red card moments later by referee Kevin Stott in the latter stages of the Galaxy's 1-1 draw with San Jose last Saturday at Stanford Stadium.
On Thursday, the league's Disciplinary Committee issued an undisclosed fine to Cole for not leaving the field of play promptly enough after being shown the red by Stott.
