Match Report: Robbie Keane return inspires LA Galaxy to 2-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps

Robbie Keane made a triumphant return to the LA Galaxy starting XI after participating in Euro 2016, scoring a stunning goal and sending LA on their way to their first win in eight matches -- a 2-0 result over visiting Vancouver.

The Whitecaps played a strong match, but they were never dangerous enough in attack with the influential Kekuta Manneh surprisingly left out of the matchday roster.

Vancouver outshot LA 26-9, but the likes of Erik Hurtado and then Blas Perez couldn't find a way through a stout Galaxy back line even when LA were down to 10 men after Nigel De Jong was sent off.
