The LA Galaxy will go head to head with all three Cascadia clubs this month.
Throughout the month of July, the Galaxy will play five matches with Cascadian opposition, which began on Monday with a 2-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The LA Galaxy will now travel to take on Seattle Sounders on July 9 and July 31 as well as a fly to Portland to take on the Timbers on July 23. Throw in the U.S. Open Cup match against the Sounders on the 20th and July is shaping up to be a real battle with the Galaxy's Pacific Northwest rivals.
In conjunction with this series of games, The LA Galaxy will be rolling out the Battle with Cascadia presented by Alaska Airlines, featuring exclusive content on the Galaxy’s fierce rivalries with the Cascadia clubs and a behind-the-scenes look at the travel involved for these road trips.
