CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy II moved up one spot to third in the USL Power Rankings after their 4-1 win over Portland Timbers 2 last week.
Los Dos' victory over Timbers 2 extended their unbeaten streak to eight, and their winning streak to three games. Galaxy II return to action on Saturday when they travel to Texas to take on San Antonio FC.
"The Galaxy II showed off the multiple ways they can beat you on Saturday afternoon with goals from both set pieces and open play leading them to a victory in Portland," USLsoccer.com's Nicholas Murray wrote. "Now tied for the conference lead with Vancouver, the week off seemed to have no effect on the side as it extended its undefeated streak to eight games, and its winning streak to three."
