Fans can purchase tickets for the U.S. Open Cup Semifinal match starting at $25, with tickets available to 2016 LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members at a 60% discount for just $10 by clicking here. Group ticket packages of 10 or more are available for $15. All parking at StubHub Center for the match is free.
The winner of Open Cup Semifinal match between the LA Galaxy and FC Dallas will advance to the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final against the winner of the semifinal match between the Chicago Fire and New England Revolution. The Galaxy reached this year’s semifinals by way of defeating La Máquina in the Fourth Round before a road win over Portland Timbers FC in the Round of 16. The Galaxy then earned a 4-2 win over Seattle Sounders FC last week in the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals.
The Galaxy will play in the semifinals of the U.S. Open Cup for the first time since 2006. LA are 19-2-0 at home all time in the Open Cup and currently have a 17-game winning streak at home in the U.S. Open Cup. The Galaxy’s last home defeat in the USOC was to the Chicago Fire in the 2000 US Open Cup Semifinal game. The club has recorded a 31-15-0 all-time record in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, recognized as U.S. Soccer's National Club Championship, is an annual competition open to all amateur and professional soccer teams affiliated with U.S. Soccer. The tournament has crowned a champion for over 100 consecutive years dating from 1914. In 1999, the competition was renamed to honor American soccer pioneer Lamar Hunt.
