The LA Galaxy Academy U-16's suffered their first loss of the Liga Bancomer Tournament.
Both the LA Galaxy and Pachuca entered the match with three wins each, but it was Pachuca who were able to capitalize on their chances. Pachuca opened the scoring in the 19th minute. The Galaxy moved and possessed the ball well, but were unable to break down a Pachuca defense that has allowed zero goals in four games.
The Tuzos were able to double their lead in the 47th minute before putting away the dagger in the 52nd.
The Galaxy are now 3-0-1 and will next face Universidad (1-1-2) on Tuesday, August 9 at 10:10 a.m PT.
The Galaxy opened the tournament on Thursday, August 4 with a 1-0 win over the Philadelphia Union U-16's, defeated FC Dallas on Friday, August 5 2-0 and capped off the weekend with a 3-0 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday August 6.
