The LA Galaxy honored captain Robbie Keane's storied international career by taking a front page ad in The Irish Times honoring his international achievements.
Keane will end his 18-year career on Wednesday when the Republic of Ireland host Oman in Dublin. The 36-year-old forward has scored a team-leading 67 goals during his international career.
"Congratulations Keano," the advertisement reads. "The LA Galaxy would like to congratulate Robbie Keane for all his accomplishments in his remarkable 18-year career with the Republic of Ireland."
Galaxy club President Chris Klein will also be in attendance for Keane's final match with the Irish national team.
