LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena recorded his 200th win in the MLS Regular Season Saturday night in the 2-1 victory over Columbus Crew SC. Arena is now one of just two coaches to ever reach 200 wins in MLS, joining Sigi Schmid.
Arena is Major League Soccer’s most successful coach with five MLS Cup victories all time. His all-time record in the MLS Regular Season is now 200-119-86 all time.
Arena took over as head coach of the LA Galaxy in 2008 and went on to lead the club to three MLS Cup victories (2011, 2012, 2014). He has also spent time coaching D.C. United and the New York Red Bulls in MLS.
