CARSON, Calif. – Robbie Keane says he’s ready to return to the starting XI ahead of the LA Galaxy’s match against Sporting Kansas City.
Keane went 30 minutes and scored a goal in the Galaxy’s 4-2 victory over Orlando City SC last weekend. The match was Keane’s first appearance since suffering a groin injury in the build-up to the Galaxy’s August 24 match against Chicago Fire.
After being utilized as a substitute last Sunday, Keane’s eager to get back in the starting XI.
“I’m 100 percent fit now,” Keane said. “I had a good few days training and a good 30 minutes [against Orlando City] and 60 minutes plus with the Republic of Ireland.”
