CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena believes that he’ll have his full squad when the team opens the MLS Cup Playoffs next month.
The Galaxy have just three games remaining in the MLS regular season, starting with Saturday’s clash with FC Dallas. According to Arena, the Galaxy are expecting to be back to full strength by the end of October.
“We’re just getting some players back. Gerrard’s just coming back, Keane’s now getting to a point where it looks like he’s going to be fit,” Arena said. “Dos Santos missed a game; he’s getting back. [We’re] trying to get Donovan close to match fitness. Hopefully, Zardes will be back by the end of the month.
“There are still things that we’ll work on and try to get our best players on the field. It’s been a difficult year for that, but hopefully, we’re able to both qualify for the playoffs and have a healthy team as we enter the playoffs. Nothing’s given yet.”
