LA Galaxy train at StubHub Center ahead of bye week from MLS action | Weekly Schedule

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Monday, Oct. 3, 2016) – With just two games remaining in the 2016 MLS Regular Season, the LA Galaxy (11-6-14, 47 points) will train this week at StubHub Center ahead of a bye week in MLS action due to the FIFA international break.
The LA Galaxy fell to FC Dallas on the road at Toyota Stadium Saturday night. Despite the Galaxy’s loss to Dallas, the Galaxy clinched a postseason berth in the 2016 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs due to the Portland Timbers loss on Saturday. The Timbers are now seven points behind the Galaxy with just two games remaining. The Galaxy’s postseason opponent and dates will be determined following the conclusion of the MLS Regular Season on Sunday, Oct. 23 when the Galaxy host FC Dallas at StubHub Center. With the result, the Galaxy remained in third place in the MLS Western Conference standings, behind Colorado and FC Dallas.
LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos was called up to the Mexican National Team for two October matches, the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol announced last week. The Galaxy’s leading scorer this year will join his country this week for a match against New Zealand in Nashville on Oct. 8 before traveling to Bridgeview, Illinois for a game against Panama at Toyota Park on Oct. 11.
