CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy didn't finish the 2016 MLS regular season with the top record, but their league dominance since 2010 is unquestioned.
New Jersey-based soccer blogger Mark Fishkin created a table of the regular season record and average points per season of every active MLS club since the 2010 campaign. It's little surprise that the Galaxy hold the highest average points total with 56.7 points since the 2010 season, which is 2.1 points greater than Seattle Sounders FC's total.
Over that seven-year period, the Galaxy are the only team to register a 50 point season every season, while also winning two Supporters' Shields.
