The United States and Mexico are fierce rivals, but the two sides put their differences aside to make a meaningful statement before Friday's World Cup qualifier.
Prior to Mexico's 2-1 win over the USMNT, the two teams decided to join arms for the traditional game day photo. The picture was a spontaneous act according to Fox Sports' Jenny Taft, who reported that even players on the U.S. bench did not know the photo was occurring.
