Vote now for the LA Galaxy Goal of the Year Competition
CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy kicked off their Goal of the Year competition presented by Laduma on Friday.
A total of 11 goals have been nominated for the annual contest from both Galaxy and the LA Galaxy Academy. Giovani dos Santos’ first goal for the LA Galaxy took home the top prize a year ago.
The Goal of the Year vote begins on Friday and will run until January 1, 2017, with the winner being announced a day later.
The following goals have been nominated:
- Giovani dos Santos vs. Real Salt Lake on April 24
- Steven Gerrard vs. Real Salt Lake on April 24
- Robbie Rogers vs. Philadelphia Union on May 11
- Efrain Alvarez vs. FC Dallas Academy on June 20
- Giovani dos Santos vs. Houston Dynamo on April 15
- Steven Gerrard vs. New England Revolution on May 8
- Giovani dos Santos vs. New England Revolution on May 8
- Robbie Keane vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC on July 4
- Baggio Husidic vs. Columbus Crew SC on September 3
- Giovani dos Santos vs. Columbus Crew SC on September 3
- Ema Boateng vs. Real Salt Lake on September 7
