CARSON, Calif. – ESPN FC’s Jeffrey Carlisle is reporting the LA Galaxy are interested in signing French midfielder Romain Alessandrini from Marseille.
Carlisle’s report states that the Galaxy are interested in signing the 27-year-old wide midfielder to one of the team’s vacant Designated Player spots. Multiple reports have also linked the Galaxy to a move for Mexican midfielder Jonathan dos Santos, the brother of Los Angeles forward Giovani dos Santos.
Alessandrini has made seven appearances for Marseille this season and has played a total of 48 matches since joining the club in 2014.
