CARSON, Calif— LA Galaxy head coach Curt Onalfo believes that the LA Galaxy are on track to have a successful season after completing his first preseason with the club ahead of the start of the 2017 campaign.
Speaking at the Galaxy’s Season Ticket Member Rally on Sunday, Onalfo told moderator Joe Tutino that the organization is ready to start the season, which kicks off on March 4 against FC Dallas. After ending the preseason with a 2-2-1 record, Onalfo believes his squad is ready for the challenge that lies ahead.
“We’re really excited about this season. We’ve made a lot of changes. We’ve added excellent players to our team, but we’ve had a lot of change which will take the time to gel,” Onalfo said. “I think we’re on track having trained for five weeks. It won’t happen overnight, but we’re looking forward to the start of the season against Dallas.
“We’re hopeful that we’ll have a successful season.”
